Keeping with the theme of using my own photography, the background is a photo I took after a rainstorm in Washington state. The fog was mesmerizing that day and I tried to capture it as it wafted mysteriously through the trees. I also arranged the numbers like they were climbing the mountain- to be a bit extra.

I'll be starting a handful of savings challenges in February with money earned from completing online surveys. I have a couple big purchases to plan for (including our bulk store membership renewal) and excited to try saving challenges to accomplish these goals.

I'll also be sharing how I did in January with my online survey side hustle. It was quite surprising how much my Survey App Challenge helped me stay motivated to complete surveys daily. The extra time definitely paid off.

Have you ever considered coloring as a budgeting tool? Imagine creating beautiful works of art while building your emergency fund.  But coloring books can be expensive. So I went to the internet to find some free sites that offer coloring pages at no cost.  In my research, I found three free websites with downloadable coloring pages. Freebie Friday the 13th: It's Raining Savings!

This was one of the first challenges I made using my photography. It was taken during a pause in a rainstorm we were having on our property, hence the raindrops with dollar amounts.
