Finishing My First Challenge: Lots of Treats for Happy Birds

Welcome back friends!

The survey app I use has been going crazy with bonuses these past few weeks! I made roughly $30 in a little under two weeks, and I'm still in the middle of a promo (additional $10 if completed). I don't remember having access to so many bonuses in the past and I'm starting to wonder if invitations are based on usage.

If you do online surveys, check out my FREE 30 Deposits Survey App Challenge. This tracker has been a game changer for me!

Let's Roll

As you may remember, I don't have dice at home, so I use this free dice simulator for my rolls: https://www.calculator.net/dice-roller.html

Starting with the
$30 dollars, I'm rolling a D3 and each challenge will get the amount rolled. Here is my tally for the games:

#1: $1, $1, $1, $1 = $4
#2: $1, $1, $2, $3 = $7
#3: $3, $3, $1, $2 = $9 *started here, will start here again.
#4: $2, $3, $2, $3 = $10

Challenge 1 gets $4 dollars, so I'll color in 2 full dots, and leave the 0.5 raindrop for next time.
Challenge 2 gets $7 dollars, I'm finishing this challenge today! Whoop!!
Challenge 3 gets $9 dollars, so I'll cross off the last big $5 raindrop and 1 of the $4 raindrops.
Challenge 4 gets $10 dollars, so I'll color in 10 dots.

Savings Challenge #1

First savings challenge comes from Anh
@CraftandBudgetwithAnh. She has some fun, adorable free digital downloads on her ko-fi at https://ko-fi.com/craftandbudgetwithanh

I'm using one of her March Madness 2026 challenges to save $84 (42 dots x $2). As of today, I have $17 saved!

The money saved is earmarked to special order dry organic beans from a local farm. The company offers free shipping on orders over $50, so I'm planning to use $51 from the $84, and the remainder will be rolled into my Squirrel Away Savings.

Savings Challenge #2

Yay! My first challenge completed ($20 savings) and those birdies are going to be so happy!

Second challenge is one of my own. It's a $20 mini challenge and my savings are earmarked for treats to feed our native bird population.

The challenge got $7 this round, I only needed $6 and the remaining $1 will go to my catch-all Squirrel Away Savings challenge.

Savings Challenge #3

Third challenge is one of my own as well, and was featured this last Freebie Friday the 13th: find it here

As of today I have saved $19. Once completed, this challenge will save me $65 to cover our bulk store membership fee due at the end of the year. Plenty of time to meet this goal!

Savings Challenge #4

Final challenge comes from Anh @CraftandBudgetwithAnh at https://ko-fi.com/craftandbudgetwithanh

I'm using one of her March Madness 2026 challenges to save $42 (42 dots x $1). The money saved is earmarked for general garden, so maybe some starters.

As of today, I have saved $19, fantastic!!

Small Savings for the Catch-All

Alright friends! I had $1 left to roll into my Squirrel Away Savings challenge I've designated as a catch-all saver. I like ending with this challenge because it eliminates the stress of starting a new challenge right away. I'm curious to see how much I save employing this strategy.

I am so pleased with how these saving challenges are going and excited to start another one soon! If you like any of the featured challenges, check out my ko-fi shop for the free downloads: ko-fi.com/offgridbudgetwithkay
